Cainâ Araújo + Band
Cainã Araújo the talent of the northeastern forró. Singer, composer and poet, that’s how we can define Cainã Araújo. He began playing accordion at the age of nine. At 14 he also played professionally. In 2015 he started his solo career. 2018 the success recognized - With the release of the CD “Coração Matuto” Cainã conquered the public opinion and his songs played in the radio stations of the city.
Defending the culture of the traditional forró Cainã left, in 2018, for a new chapter in his repertoire. After participating in a contest in the city of Itaúnas - Espírito Santo, he was invited to show his trajectory outside Brazil. And it was with heart and soul that he went to Europe, where he now resides, and has presented his new authorial work entitled Estrada do Meu Peito (2019).
In Europe he has played in several festivals such as Forró London (England), Ai que Bom Festival (Paris), Tome Forró (Germany) and Forró Roma (Italy). In addition, he played in France, Switzerland, Belgium, Russia, Czech Republic and Poland.
And as he likes to say: Viva o forró, meu povo!!! Long Live Forró!

Forroxodó (Hamburg)
Forroxodó was founded 2014 in Hamburg by Brazilian and French musicians togehter with lead-singer Ivoneide Targino, from Mossoró, Rio Grande do Norte. Animated by their passion for music from the north-east, and their desire to interpret, re-arrange or compose forró music in a mostly traditional style, the 5-piece group has regularly brought energetic forró at Hamburg downtown Cascadas Club and at the festivals (Altonale Festival, Circus Festival). Sanfoneiro Vincent Mermillod (fr.), Percussionist and cavaquinho player Remy de Souza Santos (br.,fr.), guitarist Mo Jonas (br.), and Zabumbeiro Fernando Moreira (br.) complete the quintet. Forroxodó invites you all to join for exciting forrós, poetic xotes and lively cocos and xaxados!

Mistura Fina
The band, featuring Valdir Jovenal (singer), Fabiano Lima (zabunda), Charles William (acordeon), and Leozinho (triangolo) will rock the beautiful Tangoloft Berlin on Friday evening (25.10). They play lovely Forró with the styles of Xanxado, Baião, Xote and Ritmos do Nordeste. Both the band and the venue have been real Berlin institutions for a long time! And please note, it could be the last time for dancing Forró at Tangoloft Berlin, if you have heard the current debate! So let us support them and experience this side of Forró.

DJ Swingueiro (Portugal)

Forró Viramundo invites Charles William
A new Berlin resident Forró Band shows a different artistic conception to the Forro scene.
Influenced by the Brazilian popular culture of Pernambuco (Coco de Roda, Forro de Rabeca, Cavalo Marinho e as Bandas De Pífano) and also by the Forró Pé de Serra, Forró Viramundo brings the swinged music and the dancing tradition to the stage.
In the repertory not only classic songs of Luiz Gonzaga and Gordurinha, but also new music instrumental of Dominguinhos, Mestrinho and Hermeto Pascoal.
Not only great for dancing, but also for listening and watching.
Band:

Percussion/Voice – Valdir Juvenal
